Art Walk
The art work that I had, had daises and a blue back ground. the picture reminded of summer and feeling the warm sun on my cheeks as I take a walk outside. Or when we were little and we would go out for recess we would race to the dandy lions. Whoever would get there first would get the biggest one that held the most wishes. We thought the bigger the dandy lion the better the chance of our wish coming true.
3 D Art
This piece of art was made as an Idol. As some of us know some religions have multiple gods. This is the God of grumpy. When one is upset they can come to the grumpy god and get their feelings out. the grumpy God will then send the person over to the happy god so the person can once again feel happy.
This is
This is a woman heading to another day of work.
This a list of things that need to be taken care.
This is a woman lost in the responsibilities of life.
This is the child she use to be, waking up and looking for the fun in life.
Not having a care in the world, when the best part of the day was getting a new balloon.
This is the childhood that is now lost.

Ukrainian Revolution
I have had it with this revolution. Every day the sun shines
but it’s still dark outside. What could I do to add a little brightness to this
world?
The man looks at his computer while his favorite song is
stuck in his head, starting to hum out loud.
I know, I’ll take my piano and play the police men out in
the square a song. I’ll play them the songs my grandmother would play for me
when I was little.
As I push my piano out of my flat and into the street I feel
multiple eyes staring at me. I hold my head up high and push the piano into the
middle of the street right in front of the police. Taking my seat I see
confusion on their faces, as I play I lose myself into the music. Looking up I see
some men looking straight forward and trying to stay serious. Others have their
eyes closed in captivated by the music. Maybe they too listened to these songs
when they were little. Remembering back when they were little the innocence of
not knowing that we would one day live in a country that’s in total chaos.
After the finale note of my last song was played someone started humming. I
started to play that song and every police man was smiling. It felt amazing to
bring a little joy to their day.

Lyrics Shuffle
And I just wanna tell you I,
I was scared of pretty girls and starting conversations,
You can see the world you brought to life,
You're the light, you're the night,
You can tell me when its over,
I got a lump in my throat because,
Well, me I fall in love with you every single day,
Never knew that it could mean so much,
If the pain was worth the high,
So love me like you do, love me like you do
I was scared of pretty girls and starting conversations,
You can see the world you brought to life,
You're the light, you're the night,
You can tell me when its over,
I got a lump in my throat because,
Well, me I fall in love with you every single day,
Never knew that it could mean so much,
If the pain was worth the high,
So love me like you do, love me like you do
Wonderful Tonight
The finale song of the night starts,
Couples embrace each other for a slow dance,
A girl in the bathroom, mascara running down her face,
2 years over,
A boy in a blue suit sits on the bleachers, not having
danced to a single song,
There’s smoke in the distance coming from the back part of
the parking lot,
Teachers walking around with flash lights,
“Save room for Jesus”,
Confetti covering the floor,
Heels in hands and sport jackets on back of chairs,

Teacher + Music
Mrs. A
Beatrice
1.
What music or songs reminds you of your
childhood?
Songs
of the 70’s
High school
musical and Hannah Montana.
Mrs. A was probably talking about her teen
years and I’m talking about when I was in Elementary School.
2.
Who is your favorite singer or group or song and
why?
Barry
Manilow, his music speaks to me.
Pentatonix,
because they are amazing.
I
don’t know who Barry Manilow is…
3.
What music reminds you of someone you love?
I
Hope You Dance reminds me of my boys when they were little.
Songs we
sing at church always remind me of my mom.
Mrs. A was driving in her neighborhood and
the song I Hope You Dance was on when she saw a boy playing in his front yard
the day before he passed away.
4.
Concerts?
Barry
Manilow and the Eagles. They were just fantastic productions!
I have been
to a Michael Buble concert and Pentatonix.
At the Michael Buble concert and PTX they
both sang a song without microphones.
5.
What radio stations do you normally listen to?
Do you sing along?
106.7,
104.7, 105.9. I sing along if I am alone. The boys won’t let me if they are in
the car.
I don’t
really listen to the radio, my car syncs with my ipod. I always sing along, I
don’t care who else is in my car.
Mrs. A’s sons should sing along with her.
6.
Which music or artist was “controversial” or “offensive”
to someone when you were growing up? Is any music offensive to you now?
Heavy
Metal. Some said it had secret satanic messages. Rap music is offensive to me
now.
I can’t
personally think of an artist that offends me, but people say Meghan Trainor’s
music is offensive.
I like the way Meghan Trainor arranges her
music, I’m just not a big fan of her lyrics.
7.
Which music or artist do you really dislike or refuse
to listen to?
Rap
and sometimes country.
I’m not
really sure what I don’t like.
The Sound of Music
3. My music taste over the years has changed a lot. When I
was little my mom would always play the little kid songs for me in her car. At the
time my mom was a first grade teacher and was use to listening to those songs
so we really didn’t listen to anything else. When I got into middle school I
went through a country music phase. Then I started getting into musicals and
started downloading a lot of show tunes. I liked the pop songs they play on the
radio. As party favors my friends and I would always make cd’s for each other.
6. Without music the world would be very awkward. Every
store, restaurant or elevator you going into has music playing. They most likely
have music playing to fill the awkward silences. Ever been in a car with
someone and music wasn’t playing and no one was talking making you feel very
uncomfortable? Thank goodness for music getting us out of awkward silences one
song at a time.
8. I really admire they music of the Pentatonix, because
they are an accapella group. They do covers of songs and make them better. It’s
amazing how much work they put into each song. They also write their own songs
too. The always start out with the beat and the base and then go from there.
11. Music does have the power to heal. Not only for the
listener but also the writer. It helps the writers by having a way to let their
feelings out maybe about a brake up and sometimes it gets the person a lot of
money. (Shout out to Taylor Swift.) Say
a person is having a bad day and they are driving in their car a song comes on
the radio and it just speaks to them. The song has enough emotion as the person
listening to it does. Music can also help older people when they are feeling
depressed about their age, they can listen to the right song and be taken back
to their youth.
14. Music is my escape. There is nothing better than
driving, having the music turned up really loud and singing along. Not having
to worry about anything. I also like how music can pump you up, turn on the
right song with the right beat and your mood can go from zero to 10 in just
under three minutes.

Thanks
I have this blue striped pillow case that’s made from satin, it came with a sheet set. A family member of mine gave it to me. They were really excited to give it to me and said they had gotten it for a great deal. I thought it was going to be something really cool like an iPod or something Vera Bradley. I got the sheets and I was like oh, they’re sheets, this is a surprise. They looked so happy and you could tell that I was trying to make it look like I was not, not happy. The sheets do not match my room so they are under my bed. I only use them when family comes over and someone sleeps on the futon.
The Finale Polish
The bells jingle as the door closes
the last customers of the day heading out. The Old Man wipes down the counter
as he looks around the gas station; the isles bear, the soda fountain running
on its last bit of coke. The depression hasn’t been too nice, less people were
coming in to get soda. People really didn’t buy cars anymore and if they had a
car they would sell it for money. Pop’s Shop gas station had been the most
popular place in town. Kids would stop in after school for a soda. New
customers coming in as they filled up their gas tank. The Old Man couldn’t wait
to hear about the new people, where there going and where they have been. He can
still see the kids sitting at the soda bar enjoying a good laugh.
One time a man came in dressed in
an all-white suit. The poor guy was the best man at his best friend’s wedding
and forgot to pick up the ice. That would have been no big deal if it hadn’t been
98 degrees that day. The Best Man was freaking out he didn’t know how he was
going to get the ice in the car and drive it over to the church without the ice
melting. The Old Man just smiled the whole time knowing that all the best man
needed was a cooler.
The old man walked over to the door
gave the gas station a finale look and locked the doors for the last time.

The Windmill
This is where I spent my summers
Grandma and Grandpas old farm,
I would climb into my castle and rule the farm,
My loyal subjects being the cows and sheep,
A tiara made out of hay was the perfect accessory
The arms of the windmill served as a moat keeping monsters and little brothers away,
My fairy Grandmother would sound the dinner trumpets
My royal stage coach was green from the designer John Deer
The court chester gave shows of scaring away the crows,
To where the gates end was my kingdom.
The Storm on the Sea of Galilee
There is always calm before the storm.
The sea was still, nothing but endless blue
The sky turned gray, CRACK,
As the thunder starts getting close together the waves pick up,
Crew members soaked in water as each one runs to their station,
Orders being yelled out by the captain,
The ropes are drenched making it difficult to grasp,
The boat sways violently side to side,
Curses and prayers being preached under our breaths
Waves continuing to raise us higher.

Movie Goer
My favorite movie is Stardust. I like that it is syfy and
that a star is the main lead. The underdog wins. The movie has the right amount
of comedy, romance, and action in it.
I’m not really into action movies. I really don’t find them interesting
and don’t understand why people like to watch other people hurting each other. I
also didn’t like the Hobbit, I left to go to the bathroom 6 times during that
movie.
I don’t watch movies to often. I mostly watch movies when I’m
with my friends or when I’m at home sick.
Here’s the thing about me, when I watch a movie I end up
falling asleep right as the beginning credits roll up and wake up right as the
ending credits come on. There for I really need a couch or a bed to watch
movies. When I’m with my friends and watching a movie I will stay awake, so I
end up just needing popcorn.
The movie quiz says;
YOU ARE 58% EXTRAVERTED.
YOU ARE 58% EXTRAVERTED.
YOU ARE 83% AGREEABLE.
YOU ARE 67% CONSCIENTIOUS.
YOU ARE 58% EMOTIONALLY STABLE.
YOU ARE 58% OPEN TO NEW EXPERIENCES.
If my life were a movie I would want Emma Stone or Anne Hathaway
to play me and Julie Walters to play my mom. One of my main movie point would be my dad passing
away, in every good movie (and Disney movie) someone always dies. I would want
another main point to be good on a grand vacation. My friends and I would spend
a month in Europe and the movie would document all the cool things we did. It
would be just like the movie “One Nation Under God”. Another event would be
going off to college. Like how MTV has the show the real world. (Is that still
eve on?) It would show people what it is really like to move away from home and
start out in college. I think they should make a documentary like that, so all
the new college students would get a glimpse of what it is like.

Not the Right Ending
Please note that what you are about to read gives away the
whole Air Head trilogy.
Emerson Watts goes to a store gets
hit in the head by a TV and is announced that her heart is dead. She wakes up
to find that she is in model Nikki Howards body. Nikki lives a life of leisure,
she lives in a penthouse in Manhattan, has loads of money and everything anyone
could want. The first book is about how Emerson becomes Nikki and the second
book is about Emerson living Nikki’s life. The third and final book is the most
upsetting one.
In the third book Nikki (Emerson)
wants to take down the guy who paid for the brain transplant. She finds out
that the original Nikki is still alive and looks for her. They team up to take
Mr. Stark down and his big enterprise. Mr. Stark learns that they are looking
for him and threatens to kill Nikki’s (Emerson’s) sister. Long story short, they get to a news press and
release that Mr. Stark had Nikki killed because she knew too much and tried to
replace her with Emerson. Then Emerson
goes back to living her old life before she was a famous model.
I’m happy that the main charter got
her way and now everything seems right in their world, but that’s not how I wanted
it to end. I wanted her to still be a model and live in her penthouse and wear
fancy clothes. I still wanted to read about appearance she would have to make
or another crazy twist in the story. I guess I really wasn't ready for the
books to end I wanted to keep reading about Nikki’s lavish life.

Snow day.
I jolt awake, oh my gosh I over
slept, I think looking at the clock as it blinks 8:30. Running I put my clothes
on brush my teeth and hurry down stairs. While waiting for my toast my mom
walks in.
“Mom! Why didn’t you wake me up I’m
going to be late to school!” She starts laughing while looking at what I’m
wearing, “I guess you didn’t take a look out the window this morning.” “Wait, what, does this mean what I think it
means?” “Yes you have a snow day!’ Woo hoo! A whole extra day to do whatever I want,
this day shall not go wasted.
After finishing breakfast and fixing the way I look I planned
out the perfect snow day.
1.
Go sledding at the Old Man’s hill. Said to be
the best hill in town.
2.
Come home for lunch, hopefully chicken noodle
soup.
3.
Snow ball fight
4.
Build a snow fort
My phone buzzes with a text from
my best friend Alex, he says meet him at Old Man’s Hill in twenty. I grab my
sled put on my snow gear and head over to the hill. The hill is covered in the
perfect blanket of snow. Some people where leaving just as I pulled up and left
a really nice sledding trail. Alex is already on the hill getting ready to use
his Snow Racer 2000. ‘ Hey
man”,” Hey” “Let’s do this’. I hop on my sled give it a little push and bam! I’m
fly down the hill wind in my face and no control of the sled, I can barely see
as the snow keeps getting in my eyes.
Once we got tuckered out from all
the sledding we headed back to my house. My mom made chicken noodle soup for
us. Yes! ‘Alex text Jessica, Ryan, Steve and Michelle for the snow ball fight’.
“Okay everyone says they’re in.
We all meet down the street in the
open filed. Alex, Jessica and I were on a team, Ryan, Steve and Michelle on the
other. “ On the count of three,1, 2, thr.. the snow balls start flying. Alex
stayed behind to make the snow balls while Jessica and I showed no mercy to
Ryan and Michelle. No one ended up w inning but we still all had a good time.
Everyone stayed to help build the
snow fort it ended up looking like an igloo. We all sat in the igloo drinking
hot chocolate, it was the perfect end to the best snow day.

A Single Man in Possession of a Good Fortune
It
is truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good
fortune, must be in want of a wife. Henry was dressed for work: kakis, button
down and a tie, hair slicked back and a winning smile. He had the dream job,
car and house the only thing he didn’t have is a wife.
Lucy has the perfect smile, laugh
and twinkle in her eye. When she entered a room you could feel the room light
up.
One day on
Henrys way to work he bumped into a girl with a twinkle in her eye. He thought
nothing of her really just another person on the street. There was something
about her that he couldn’t keep out of his mind.
Every day for the past week on his
way to work he would run into the girl with a twinkle in her eye. After the 5th
time running into her he decided to find out who she was. Her name is Lucy
turns out she walks this way to her job, she owns a bakery down the street. She
had just catered Henry’s office party last week.
Lucy and Henry hit it off. They
would meet each other at her bakery after he got off work and would spend
endless hours talking and talking. They continued this tradition for 7 months.
Henry knew that he was ready to spend every day for the rest of his life at
this little bakery.
6
O’clock that’s when it happened. Henry had just gotten off work his hair was
slicked back the way it always is there was a little bulge in his breast pocket
in the shape of a box. He was ready to finally have it all, the dream wife to
complete the dream life. He was half way to the bakery when he heard a shot and
a scream. He ran in and saw Lucy lying on the floor in the middle of a pool of
blood. The twinkle in her eyes had disappeared. That moment he knew that his
dream life would never be complete. It was a fine cry – loud and long- but it
had no bottom and it had no top, just circles and circles of sorrow.

Madison, Keishay and Rachel
I really like how in Madison's dream thread story she was in other peoples dreams. That would be so cool to see what other people are dreams about. It's like being a mind reader almost.
If Keishay were to rule the world she says" And sometimes forgot to wake up on time would still be aloud to be in charge of the world." Her statement makes me wonder if the President is sometimes aloud to sleep in.
Rachel brought us back to our childhood with forts and naps everyday, sounds like the life! It is true though we always wish to be grown up.

The Famous First and Last Line
"It was a fine cry-loud and long- but it had no bottom and it had no top, just circles and circles of sorrow."
Sula was written by Toni Morrison. Morrison was born February 18, 1931 and is still living today. The year her book was published she was a single mother of two children and working at Howard University.
Sula takes place between World War I and World War II. It's about two African American girls live's starting out when they are young and ending when they are well in age. One girl grows up and gets married the other girls moves away and sleeps here and there.
I would honestly not read this book. I am more into comedies and this book seems far from that. The ending line in this book is depressing and I rather not find out why. This book would be better for someone who enjoys historical books.

Pride and Prejudice was written by Jane Austen. Austen was born on December 16, 1775 and died on July 18, 1817. She lived her life as part of a close knit family in England.
The story is about sisters that are ready to get married. Luckily for them two new men have moved into town. Men of very high status. The oldest sister finds a liking in one of these men. The other sister and the other gentleman tend to but heads.
This book sounds like a very good read. I think I would like it because of the romance, drama, and the high class life. I like that the book is a satire, but I am afraid I wouldn't understand the humor because of the old English.

Memorable Passage
“Just think happy thoughts and you’ll fly”. First of all Peter
Pan has always been my main man. This quote to me means that your happy
thoughts can take you anywhere. It’s your bad thoughts that bring you down. It’s
the happy thoughts that keep you going, those are the moments we live for.
Think happy thoughts and you’ll fly. Think happy thoughts and your life will be
happy. You’ll be able to “fly” over anything.

Writers As Readers
The perfect spot for reading is on the beach sitting on a
chair that reclines a little bit. Unfortunately for me I live in Missouri and hardly
ever get to read at the beach. My favorite reading spot is in my room on my
futon with the sun light shining in through the window raped up in my purple
blanket.
I am one for getting on the book bandwagon. If a lot of
people like a book then I will probably like it too. One book I never got into
was the Divergent book. The only reason why is because the main characters name
is Beatrice, but somehow it is changed to Tris. People then started asking me
if they could call me Tris. I wasn’t going to read the book in the first place,
but then after that I really did not want to read Divergent.
You can absolutely tell when someone reads a lot. People who
read more seem to have a bigger vocabulary and do a very good job of describing
things. What we read does reflect what we write. What we choose to read is
based on our interests. When J.K Rowling was a little girl she would pretend
that she was a witch. Now she has taken her interest and has made a whole new
world just with her writings.
Sci Fi isn’t my favorite but I like it a lot. In sci fi
there can be a whole new planet and that’s cool. It makes things that we wouldn’t
be able to do seem real. I also like that the characters problems are a lot
different than mine. A problem for me could be that the outfit I wanted to wear
wasn’t washed so I can’t wear it today. A problem for a sci fi character is a
powerful wizard is trying to take over the world and for that to happen the
main character must die. I know I am never going to have that problem so it’s
cool to read about someone who does.
Back in 7th grade my mom got really sick and we
had to go live with her sister for a little bit. My aunt lives in New England
so I wasn’t able to attend school for a little bit. With all that time I had I
read the Hunger Games. This was before the Hunger Games was a big deal. I read
the Hunger Games in one night, turning the page as fast as I could, and reading
twist after twist. As soon as I could I got a hold of Catching Fire and finished
that just as fast. While I was in New England I didn’t have any friends and my
cousin had to go to school, I spent all day reading and rereading those books.
